Mello FM: University of Technology Expands Student Support with Over 100 Scholarships Across All Faculties

The University of Technology (UTECH) announced a significant boost to its student welfare initiatives, unveiling more than 100 scholarships available to students across all faculties.

Acting Student Welfare and Scholarship Officer, Mysterion Rule, detailed the comprehensive support package during the station’s UTECH Insight segment.

Rule explained that the scholarships cover a wide range of needs, including tuition assistance, boarding and accommodation support, and meal subsidies provided through a MasterCard program.

Additional benefits extend to teaching practice placements, study tours, school equipment, textbooks, and even care packages for students in need.

“The program is designed to ensure that no student is held back by financial constraints,” Rule said. “We want every young person to have the resources they need to succeed, whether it’s covering basic living costs or enriching their academic experience.”

Listeners were encouraged to visit the UTech website to explore the full list of scholarships and learn how to apply.

“With over 100 opportunities spanning every department, there’s something for everyone,” Rule added.

The initiative provides support across multiple areas of student life, helping students manage educational expenses while also improving access to resources that enhance their academic journey.
